Oh my gosh yall, it has been a fun week!
This week has gone by so quickly! It has been so fun, but lots has been happening. My district is apart of this program where we have a latin companion for maybe 5 or so hours per week. I was paired with an amazing Hermana who does not know any English. But we successfully created a lesson and then shared that lesson and it was difficult but very fun! I am excited for tonight when we create another lesson together.
Today I was also able to go to the temple for a second time and it was amazing again. So gorgeous and a great experience.
I really loved this past fast Sunday, the spirit was so strong and the different devotions really touched me. The focus was on The Restoration and The Book of Mormon. One of the devotionals talked about how they performed a survey in Europe where they took apart the Book of Mormon into all of the different pages and they asked random people to read just one page and find God in it. The results were cool to see because it is amazing what a non religious person may see from the page they read or just the different outlook another person can have entirely from this book they have never read before. It testified to me the further power held in The Book of Mormon and also of revelation.
And then on Tuesday night, my companion and I sung with the choir. The song was Love is Spoken Here in Spanish and it reminded me of a scripture found in 3 Nephi Chapter 22 verse 10, which reads, “For the mountains shall depart and the hills be removed, but my kindness shall not depart from thee”. The Spirit while singing was full of Christ like love this Sunday and no matter what you do The Lord will not ever turn away from you.
Being able to wear the name of Christ every day out here is simply the greatest. I am so excited to help others feel of the joy I have.

This is an email that Hermana Tuckfield sent from the Mexico MTC on August 4, 2017:
We got an email from Sis. Tuckfield yesterday (July 18) that she sent from the MTC in Mexico City. She said that she arrived safely and everything was good. We are happy that Sis. Tuckfield is safe and we can’t wait to hear more on her next preparation day next Thursday!
